I’m back from Beograd! What’s new there?

Public buses are paint up with dirty orange. ;-)

Sveti Sava, the biggest orthodox church in Balkan, is finished after 70 years. It looks very nice.

I went there with my 6-month-old daughter. We used the public buses, this dirty orange one, which is always overloaded. But you can’t imagine how nice and friendly are the people in the buses when they see a child. People offered us immediately a seat. That is what I don’t know from Berlin. Shame on you, people from Berlin. Nobody ever offers a seat.

People from Beograd you are nice and very friendly. Keep it up!!

I don’t like Beograd in winter without snow; it looks so grey and dirty. But Beograd was all the time snowy so it was very nice.

When you move to Beograd then don’t forget:

Foreigners must announce themselves in Serbia and/or Montenegro within 24 hours at the place of the stay with the police. Offences against the obligation to register are possibly strictly punished. With accommodation in a hotel the registration is taken over by this.

I got a lot of trouble because I didn’t.
